The studio

Stitchwork Studios

An independent game studio. We make games in every genre, and horror is where we do our best work: games that build dread slowly and reward players who pay attention.

Who we are

SWS

Stitchwork Studios, or SWS, is a small team with clear roles.

We are building the studio, the game and the community together. Our first game is Stay Awhile, an open-world survival psychological horror game with an element of sandbox, currently in development.

The logo says it well: a gear for the machinery of making games, and a needle and thread for the care that holds it together.

What we are hoping for

Our goals
01

A horror game with its own identity

We want Stay Awhile to stand out: slow dread, places that shouldn't exist, and a world that rewards players who pay attention.

02

A game built with its community

Closed playtesting, then open playtesting, then Early Access. We want players in the room long before release, and their ideas on the table.

03

A release on Steam and Epic

The goal is to bring Stay Awhile to both the Steam and Epic Games stores.

04

A studio that lasts

Horror is where we do our best work, but we want SWS to make games in every genre, one carefully made game at a time.
